RWA Compliance Services Confirm New Venture with Peter Staddon
RWA Compliance Services have appointed Peter Staddon as Head of Broker Professional Development.
Peter joined BIBA in 1996 where he established their Technical Services department which included their successful technical committees. He departed BIBA in July 2011.
Since leaving BIBA he has been keen to get back to working with brokers at grass roots level as he did when he joined BIBA and believes that working with RWA is the right fit to achieve these aims as together they will be able to provide the knowledge, expertise and empathy to help brokers with their development.
Commenting on his new working partnership with RWA, Peter said: “I am excited at being able to help support brokers in a variety of roles which will ensure that they are able to continue to grow in these difficult times. I have always believed that brokers do a fantastic professional job and without them many SME businesses will receive little or no advice.”
Peter and RWA will be working with all brokers, from the one-man band to the large corporate firms, and will listen to exactly what they need and offer solutions to help them achieve their goals.
Robin Wood, Chairman of RWA Group, comments: “RWA’s plans are well advanced for helping brokers develop fee charging systems, broker focused T&C, TCF compliant consolidations, and public education of the value of using a broker.
“Peter is going to head up the RWA initiative to consolidate the status of SME brokers at the pinnacle of the intermediary Parish. When completing an appropriate cost benefit analysis, qualifications and chartered status are a positive step for the future but they should be relevant to SME brokers and one of Peter’s objectives will be looking at how brokers meet this aim.”
